CSU Leads in Bavaria in European Elections
AfD Gains Support, Greens Lose Ground
The Christian Social Union (CSU) has emerged as the frontrunner in Bavaria in the European elections, according to preliminary results. The party has secured 39.7% of the vote so far.
The Alternative for Germany (AfD) has also made significant gains, increasing its share of the vote to 10.3% compared to 3.8% in the previous election. In contrast, the Greens have suffered a setback, dropping from 10.4% to 8.9%.
